The Giro Shiv is the ultimate park and pipe helmet. It's light weight, low profile and features an interior subliner that will give you the best fit and goggle set up options in a snow helmet, it's up to you to dial it in. The interior subliner allows you to customize your pads or pull them out completely for the ultimate in rider tuned fit. A soft Velcro free fabric is laminated to the EPS foam on the inside of the helmet to make the fit more comfortable or if you want to remove the padding to accommodate a beanie or goggle strap. The in-mold construction fuses the helmet's outer shell with an impact-absorbing EPS liner. The two materials are fused together, and one is reinforced by the other. This 'exoskeleton' allows Giro to engineer this Giro Shiv helmet to be lighter, better ventilated and a lot more durable. Giro's Fit Kit system allows you to dial in your fit for maximum comfort as you take to the slopes in safety. When you get your helmet there will be a pad kit of varying thicknesses that will allow you to mix and match pads to customize the fit of your helmet. Super cool vents pull cool, fresh air into the helmet while pushing heat and stale air out. Don't be caught without your Shiv while on the mountain mastering your skills while with your friends, or in the park.
