Forum Destroyer Snowboard Boots |
The name still says it all. A team favorite since it's conception and introduction to the line, the Destroyer comes back totally revamped from previous years. The team wanted a boot with everything that a park and pipe junkie could want. Forum put enough upgrades in the boot that if it were a plane ticket, you would be able to fly around the world - first class. The Concentrix Level 2 is a traditional liner with aegis antimicrobial coating and an EVA ankle support. The width of the tongue has been increased to wrap further around your foot. Also, the thickness has been reduced for less bulk and an improved more secure fit. Get a classic Forum boot at an unbelievable price!

I'm a somewhat good rider who loves to save a few bucks when it comes to equipment. These boots feel great and have an excellent lacing system. A bit tight when I first wore them, but after a few days of walking in them they broke in very nicely. Stiff, lots of support, warm... All I could ask for in a boot within this price range.

I normally wear a 9.5 (shoes/sneakers) but if I measure my feet they are exactly a 9. I can wear some 8.5 snowboarding boots but that is more an exception than a rule... So when I ordered this pair on this website i decided to get a 9. It was a smart choice; if I had gotten an 8.5 they would have been too small. The 9 are a bit tight (on my toes) but with patience they will fit perfectly. The width is perfect...although my feet are not exactly "very-wide" they are wider than average and these boots feel great. The construction quality is above average and you cannot do much better for [$]..

I haven't actually gotten a chance to ride with these yet, but from what I can see, they're going to be great. I had a hard time getting them on the first time, but once you break them in, they fit perfect. Easy to put on, and very snug to your feet. The BOA-like lacing system underneath the toungue is an awesome feature. It allows you to snug up the boot to your foot and lock it in place before you even begin lacing it up.
The traction on these is great too. I was walking around on my icy driveway the day I broke them in and had no trouble walking without slipping.
I wear a size 10.5 shoe but bought a size 11 boot. I'm glad I did. My toes just brush the edge of the boot and when I bend my knees like when I'm boarding, my ankles plant firmly into the back.
I wore these at work while I was plowing the sidewalks outside for 3 hours and my feet were warm and comfortable the whole time. I don't see it being much of an issue doing 8 hours on the slopes...
They're a bit soft, but feel fairly supportive in the ankle area, which is exactly what I like.

Once I got the size right these boots were exactly what I was looking for, comfortable, simple and cheap! I would go with a size larger than your normal size though, I had to.
