This helmet was purchased for a 14 year old beginner skier. The helmet is a good value, but the sizing chart for RED is off. It first showed that she should be in an extra small. Upon ordering this was way too small. Next, we purchased a small since she was on the lowest side of the chart, but again too small. RED brand seems to have the sizing wrong. I did not have any problems with other brands ordering on line and have purchased 5 other helmets without problems.

This helmet is very light, and well vented. But it is so light and not a lot of pad inside that I am afraid of its protection. And it feels more like a bike/skate helmet than skiing one.

I bought this for my daughter who has a 22" (56cm) head, however, don't expect their size small (55-57cm) can fix on it. I eventually have to return it.

Brown and pink plaid inside ear flaps, SO STYLISH
GOOD price for a well made, quality helmet you can pass down.
DISAPPOINTED that the 55-57 cm listed was tight and hurt ears on 8.5 yr old daughter who measures 55 cm or 21.5 inches. Little sister wore it instead, 6 yr old w/ 54 1/2 actual head size, or 21 inches, at 6 years old. Just buy a size up, I would tell you, for comfort and years of use!

This is a comfortable and warm helmet that provides good protection. It was also a very good value (bought it on sale) that has worked out perfectly so far, just worn for one ski weekend. I would buy it again.

The product itself is great. Sadly, the sizing was off. I got a small and I clearly need a medium. I suppose it's my fault for purchasing the wrong size.But I don't even want to return it b/c [...] there's a 17% restocking fee.
